Ever wondered what it’s like to be a pest controller down under?

Warren Tennyson from Casting House, a TV Production company, is working on a new primetime series about pest controllers for the channel ‘Dave’.

They are looking to cast for a series where 9 male and female pest controllers from the UK are to be sent to Australia for 13 weeks at the end of November to do the exact same job. Whoever is chosen will have their flights, accommodation, per diems paid for and they will be working for a real pest control company over there.

They are looking for strong characters that have a bit of experience in the industry and are enthusiastic about taking on a new challenge on the other side of the world. They could have been doing pest control for 2 months or 20 years. The show will also be a fantastic platform to promote their business! In an industry mainly dominated by men they are yet to find any female pest controllers willing to take on the challenge, so why not be the first?

Casting House will firstly want to have a telephone interview with interested technicians in the next couple of days. Further to that, the next stage would be an interview over Skype and then possibly going out to meet technicians before definitely being selected to take part.

Fancy a chat and more information? Go find them at PestTech they will be easy to spot with camera’s in hand or at a stand close by the NPTA stand.
