Killgerm host lunch to celebrate first RSPH level 2 certificates in pest management

In March, Killgerm hosted a special celebratory lunch at the RSPH offices in Portland Place, London. After the meal Professor Richard Parish, the Chief Executive of the RSPH, presented eleven of the first successful candidates with their certificates.

Following the reorganisation of the RSPH level 2 certification last year, Killgerm became the first centre to be able to run training courses for pest controllers to be able to achieve the level 2 certificate in pest management.

So far, Killgerm have run 5 training courses and over 30 candidates have been successful in gaining the level 2 certificate following an assessment of their practical competence. Because the assessments are made during the course, there is no extra charge for gaining the higher qualification.

Those who do not wish to take the practical assessment can still gain the award in pest management.

Further RSPH courses are planned in London and Ossett over the coming months.
